Dr. Rox Remember When?

Article #119 Jan 2021

By: RLSchwinden aka MrZerr0

Here we are, and welcome to the show. So it’s 2021, and this is our 1st Article of the New Year. So I was thinking back to when I 1st started writing this Article for “St. Cloud, MN. Buzz” back in April 2011 (to 2016), back then I was submitting “Cover Songs” for a Show that DJ Izzy Presley had on “Rockin 101” I believe the show was called “Under The Covers”. So back in Dec 2020, while driving back from Des Moines  after “KISSin Time” played “Wooly’s” I was thinking about what I could do that was new for my 3 different Radio Shows, the 1st idea I had was based on a show I did: “Tribute to Bob Dylan” which aired on WDGY in Nov 2020.

I thought this was a really cool idea, but I needed a name, so I thought since everyone calls me a  conspiracy theorist, I should run with that theme, hence I came up with the name “Cover Up”. What the new show would consist of is about a half hour of a featured artist with “Cover Songs” from all different styles of music. Well I pitched the idea to my powers that be, and I was unable to secure a station that would or could air my new show. So I decided this new show was just too good of an idea to let it fade away. And so for now, I will release 1 new “Cover Up” Show every month on www.MrZeroS.Com -Podcast ! With that I am releasing the info for the first 3 “Cover Up” shows that you will be able to listen to on Mr. Zer0’s website, and hopefully this show will be picked up by a local station like WVIC here in St. Paul. Enjoy the read and check out the website.

4th Annual “WDGY” Xmass Show:

Dr. Rox Remember When?
WFNU: Article #118; Dec 2020
By: RLSchwinden aka MrZerr0

When I was kid growing up in Sioux City, I loved Christmas time, I loved all the Christmas Lights everywhere, and apparently I always did, I have a b/w photo of a 7 month old me mesmerized, sitting in front of the Christmas tree, my Mom and Grandma’s would be baking treats, the added bonus of it was the one big score of getting presents and candy, a far 2nd being your birthday and Halloween, heck I even loved the snow! My favorite book is “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens published in 1843, my favorite film version is the (1969 Api Prod.) cartoon of “A Christmas Carol”  released in Dec 1970 by CBS. I remember vividly Christmas of 1970 my family went to my sister Michelle’s Godmother’s house, and there was Darlene L. sitting in front of the Christmas tree having an eggnog and listening to Christmas music on the  record player, I was blown away and hooked, all at the same time. My favorite Christmas carol is “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” This same Christmas I got my 1st record player for Xmas a Panasonic compact battery powered portable with an AM radio, state of the art at the time, I tried to find a photo of it to include, alas no luck, I did find a photo of my 1st TV a b/w portable also made by Panasonic.

A guy I worked with, Kevin, brought in a cassette that his brother Keith S.  had made of some Rock N Roll Xmas Songs, one of which  was The Monkees “Christmas Is My Time Of Year” which at this point I had never heard before, he got this from my future great friend at ACE High Records. This started my tradition in 1985 of making an annual Xmas Cassette then in 1999 I was able to switch to CD, and then in 2017, I was able to switch to an annual “Radio Show”.  In 1986 this was my 1st Xmas holiday season working in Music Retail at RecordShop in Valley West Mall, but after 4 years of that I was no longer a fan of Christmas, people could be so rude and demanding, and too many places played the same old tired Christmas music which pushed me even harder to continue my Xmas, Cassette, CD & Radio Show … in 1993 RecordShop was purchased by Wherehouse Ent. and a study was done for 4th quarter that showed Minnesota & Iowa sold more Christmas music per capita than any other states in the union!  When I opened Mr. Zer0’s in 2009, I had a renewed attachment to Christmas time and the music that went with it. So I have continued my tradition for some 35 years, with that I give you the track list of Mr. Zer0’s 4th Annual Xmass Show!

KISS: Alive! 1973 to 1979

KISS: Alive Set-lists; 1973 -1979

Dr. Rox Remember When?

 WFNU: Article #117 November 2020

By: RLSchwinden aka MrZerr0

So this idea all began for me back in 1986, at that time I had about 5 Vinyl Bootleg Records and 3 Cassettes and 2 VHS of KISS: Alive in Concert. I realized that the “Alive” albums they had released were an accumulation of several concerts mixed together to create a final product. A short time later I read an interview with Gene Simmons in 1987 where they were about to embark on the “Crazy Nights Tour” the interviewer asked Gene “How does it feel to go back on tour again” Gene responded “I love going out on tour, I was born for the road, why I can still remember the setlist for our 1st tour and every one after that” and he proceeded to list the songs from the 1st tour. I was blown away, I kept thinking “Wow, what would it be like to see KISS back in those days”.

That got me to thinking … “Say, I have a (bootleg) from almost every year they toured, so I started a notebook with every KISS concert I could find. In late 1986 I met one of the biggest bootleg dealers in the Mid-West, we became fast friends, and he sold me about a dozen shows, along with a few other Dealers & Traders I met through him. By late 1987 I had had almost 30 shows spanning a 6 year period. Then in 1988 VHS Bootlegs took off ! And I would get asked over and over “Is this show on video, or that show on video?” and I hear this even into today at Mr. Zer0’s 55113.

In Spring 2001, I was contacted by a guy named Curt G. who with his partner Jeff S. was working on a book on every KISS concert ever performed up to that point. They had heard that I had the master copies of 2 rare KISS concerts: “20 Jan 1977 Lincoln, NE.” & “30 Dec 1982: Sioux City, IA.” and they were very interested in copies of these for their book “KISS: Alive Forever” (Billboard Books Sep 2002) at that time I believe I had about 90 or so KISS Concert Bootlegs in my notebook. I proceeded to do about 8 hours of interviews with 28 entries into their book as I had seen the band over 30 times up until that point, as well as met Paul, Ace, Gene, Peter, Eric Carr, Vinnie, Bruce & Eric Singer at least once if not several times, each, as well people that worked with them like, Big John Hart, Jay Barth, George Sewitt, Romeo Bonilla & Ace’s old Guitar Tech & Vinnie’s Old Guitar Tech too.

With my KISS Tribute Band “KISSin Time” (*Est. 2013) a Tribute to the “Early Years of KISS”  going to Play my former Home Town of Des Moines, Iowa (1984-1999) on 19 Dec 2020 Sat 8pm @ Wooly’s (515.244.0550), I have had some people ask me questions about exactly what songs, did KISS actually, ever play “In Concert” back-in-the-day  So I decided to look into exactly how many “Complete Concerts” (and Only Complete Shows) were in circulation on VHS, DVD or On-Line. As I still get asked repeatedly “Is that show on video?” and I do get tired of answering this question …. SO ! Below is a list of the songs KISS performed Overall on each Tour as well as Each Complete Concert Video for each Tour and the songs contained in the video (so now you fans can stop asking me).

Van Halen Article #126

October 2020

Dr. Rox Remembers;

“Van Halen”

WFNU Article #126; October 2020

By: RLSchwinden aka MrZerr0

So in the middle of the day on Tuesday 6 October I got a message from my Guitar Player Zach (MrZERo). That Eddie Van Halen had died. It did not come as a shock to me as I knew he had been battling cancer for some time, it just seems to me, most people do not beat cancer, and unfortunately it ultimately kills them. So I thought I would write an article on what Eddie Van Halen meant to me.

Let us start off with, in my mind there have been 3 Greats in the Rock World, of all time:

“Chuck” Charles Edward Anderson Berry: 18 October 1926; St. Louis, MO. – 18 March 2017 releasing: 54 Singles, over 30 Albums & 8 EPs

“Jimi” James Marshall Hendrix (born Johnny Allen Hendrix) 27 November 1942; Seattle, WA. – 18 September 1970 releasing 7 Albums and 14 Singles.

And the subject of this article:

Edward Lodewijk Van Halen: 26 January 1955; Amsterdam, Netherlands – 6 October 2020 releasing 16 Albums and 41 Singles. From the Band: Drummer: Alexander Arthur Van Halen 8 May 1953; Amsterdam, Netherlands and Bassist: Michael Anthony (Sobolewski) 20 June 1954; Chicago, ILL.
Vocalist: David Lee Roth 10 October 1954; Bloomington, IN.

Of course there are many other great guitar players out there but, these are the 3 groundbreakers in the Rock World, in my opinion.

How I 1st heard of Van Halen, I was living back in Iowa by 1978 my friend Greg A. saw Van Halen open for Journey in July 1978 in Jackson, MS. and he had bought the records “Infinity” and “VH 1” he put them on a Cassette for me and mailed them to me with a Journey Concert Program. I got the package and was curious, I played Journey first because that side was cued up, and thought “Wow, that was good” and turned it over and was blown away! “VH 1” well there was nothing like it. I went out and purchased my own copies of the records because I loved them so much I saw a photo of Eddie’s Black and White striped “Strat” and thought “That’s so cool, I want a guitar like that” later I started to think I wanted a Hot Pink one, alas this has never come to pass. and so I bought each of their albums after this when it was brand new, “VH II” (Mar 1979) I remember I was dating a girl named Donna, my girlfriend of the time Sheila bought me “Women And Children First” (Mar 1980) I was living in Phoenix when “Fair Warning” (Apr 1981) was released, and my friend Eric got me a copy of “Diver Down” (Apr 1982) and I was dating one of the great loves of my life Cathy when “1984” was released (Jan 1984).

Now I was informed by my friend Zach (yes, same one) that one of Eddie’s big influences was Allan Holdsworth: 6 August 1946: Bradford, Eng. – 15 April 2017, releasing over 26 Albums and a Guest on over 48 other releases. As well as Steve Hackett: (Stephen Richard Hackett; 12 February 1950; London, ENG. who is acknowledged with inventing “Finger Tapping” releasing  25 Albums and appearing on 39 other releases. However it has come to light in the past decade that another guitarist had influence on Eddie, my Hometown Hero Tommy R. Bolin (I have written many articles on Tommy and have done almost as many radio shows on Tommy. There is a recording of Van Halen performing “The Grind” at Gazzarri’s at 9039 Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California from late 1975 or early 1976 as the song was released in Nov 1975. Eddie is well known for his Charvel Guitars, there is now photographic evidence that Tommy Bolin  was one of Wayne Charvel’s 1st Customers, there is a photo from about mid 1976 of Tommy receiving his “Wayne Guitar” from Wayne Charvel, himself.

In the Summer of 1977 I was living in Jackson, MS. and a card carrying member of the KISS Army, when the “KISS Army Newsletter Vol.2 Spring Edition” came out announcing the new songs for the upcoming new KISS Album, tentatively titled “Love Gods” with the songs “Christine 16” “Have Love Will Travel” “Tunnel Of Love” & “Sincerely” well as of Nov 2017 the recordings have been released and confirmed that these first 3 songs were recorded with Eddie and Alex Van Halen.

I remember one of the earliest “Pop Clips” or “MTV” videos I saw was “Oh, Pretty Woman” by Van Halen, I remember thinking at the time, I was missing out on a whole lot not having this cable channel. I really liked the 3 KINKS covers Van Halen did “You Really Got Me” “Where Have All The Good Times Gone” & “Dancing In The Streets” so much so I went out and bought more KINKS records.

When I was on tour with “High Fever” from late 1982 to late 1983 (before the booze and drugs took me down) I met a guy in Moorehead, MN. at Marguerite’s  Music. I needed a Gibson truss rod wrench, I went in to get one, and this Rock Star looking guy was behind the counter. He was the Lead Guitarist in the band “Patriot” that man was Kenny Rardin (Rardin Guitars in St. Paul, 55104. call: 651. 230. 3160) So like we did back then I asked “So, who’s your guy?” He responded by pulling out a photo and saying “Oh, one of my students” and proceeded to show me a photo of Kenny, himself sitting knees to knees with Edward and Kenny is playing Eddie’s famous “Franken-Strat” I was floored “He was one of your students?” Laughing Kenny says “No, we did an in-store with him in Oct 1980” I then asked “So, how is it (the guitar)?” Kenny responds “Awful, there are gouges in the neck from doing his own fret replacement, the neck pickup and switch are not even connected, the string action is very high, and the paint job was done with a spray can as there are carpet fibers in the paint on the back of the body where he just set it on the floor to dry, believe me when I tell you it is the man not his instrument”  Unrelated Kenny is also the man who sold Paul Stanley his Gibson Reverse Firebird on the cover of “Alive!” and once owned Paul Stanley’s Doc Petillo White Flying V, which Kenny gave me the strap that came with the Petillo, Kenny also introduced me to Jay Barth the Soundman for the KISS “Destroyer Tour” ironically I searched for Kenny for years and turns out his Guitar shop is only about 3 miles from my RecordStore Mr. Zer0’s 55113. How we reconnected a man Scott W. was repainting my guitars I use in my KISS Tribute Band, and he knew Kenny, I have since had Kenny make me a White Flying V for my band KISSin Time.

While I was on the road back then in 1983 I remember reading stories about guitar players modifying the Marshall Amp heads from 110 to 220 volts trying to recreate Eddie’s sound, and blowing themselves up, no one died that I recall but they were getting hurt and ruining a lot of gear. My drummer friend Pat C. showed me that Eddie did a release with Brian May of “QUEEN” titled “Starfleet in Oct 1983.

A few years ago I met a lady Shannon who lived in California for a time, she worked at a Grocery store and one time got to wait on Eddie, he bought some cough drops.

I like all guitar players back then, want to be like Eddie, so I bought an Ibanez Strat from my buddy Eric (I eventually sold it to Butch D.) I got an MXR “Distortion+” and an MXR “Phase 90” and busted my hump trying to play lead guitar, I just didn’t have it in me … however it did push me to try new techniques. I saw Van Halen, albeit with Sammy Hagar, 18 Apr 1992 in Ames, Iowa and again with Roth, 19 May 2012 in St. Paul. I saw Roth solo in Nov 2004 and again in Mar 2020, and I saw Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony in Aug 2013. I cannot deny how great of an influence Eddie was so I made a WDGY Radi0 Show on Van Halen in Nov 2019 and a WFNU Radi0 Show in Feb 2020. Which I will detail here:

Dr. Rox Remember When?

Article #115 Sep 2020

For: Radi0 WFNU .org 94.1 FM Frogtown Radio

By: RLSchwinden aka MrZerr0

So some time ago a customer had read one of my articles and stated “I liked them better in your early days, when you wrote more of an opinion about a band or artist vs. a list of what they did. So this month I thought I’d revisit that format. As I just released my 162nd Episode of the “PsychoGello Show” on Radi0 WDGY on the band “Pink Floyd”. And I will be doing a “Pink Floyd: Evolation Show” for WFNU .org 94.1 FM Frogtown Radi0, in a month or 2. So I will use this band as the subject of my “Original Format” of my articles all the way back to April 2011.

> Pink Floyd<

Formed in 1963 as the “Tea Set” they later changed their name to “The Pink Floyd Sound” in late 1965 after “Pink Anderson” and “Floyd Council” blues artists Syd Barrett liked.

The Band:

*Bassist, Vocalist, Song Writer: George Roger Waters born 6 September 1943 in Surrey, England.

*Drummer: Nicholas Berkeley Mason born 27 January 1944 in Birmingham, England

*Keyboardist, Vocalist: Richard William Wright born 28 July 1943 in Middlesex, England; passed on 15 September 2008

*Vocalist, Guitarist: Roger Keith “Syd”: Barrett born 6 January 1946 in Cambridge, England; passed 7 July 2006.

*Guitarist Vocalist: David Jon Gilmour born 6 March 1946 in Cambridge, England.

So the 1st time I remember hearing about “Pink Floyd” was some time in Oct 1978, I was a huge fan of the TV Show “WKRP in Cincinnati” (I was smitten by Jan Smithers she was soooo pretty, did you know Loni Anderson was from Roseville, MN. back in the 60s). There is a scene where Dr. Johnny Fever is in a catatonic state listening to “Pink Floyd” and Mr. Carlson asks him “Do I hear dogs barking in this music?” Johnny sleepily replies “I do” I thought this was hysterical, although back then Records cost about $6.98, and I was a poor kid on the Westside of Sioux City. So buying new music I had never heard before was just not feasible.

The next time I experienced “Pink Floyd” was Summer 1979 on a Sunday afternoon on a Cable TV show called “Pop Clips” (Produced by Michael Nesmith formerly of The MONKEES, he later sold this show to the producers of MTV) “Pop Clips” was about 1/2 hour show that played usually current (Promo) Videos, like Triumph, Genesis, The Police, Michael Nesmith, Gary Numan, Split Enz etc … this video came on by “Pink Floyd” titled “Mademoiselle Nobs” with Waters on Guitar, Gilmour on Harmonica & Wright holding down a dog named “Nobs” that provided the Vocals of this ?song?  … I could not believe what I was hearing, much less what I was seeing …at this point it was hard for me to take this band seriously … as at this time I was really into “Black Sabbath” “RUSH” & “Triumph”

Onto the next time I experienced “Pink Floyd” was in Summer 1980 I was at a party at my friend Derek L. Apt. and he was sitting on the couch, having a “Smoke” and watching TV with the sound down listening to “Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict” I remember standing there looking at the left speaker and thinking “What the hell is this? Why would anyone listen to this crap? Why would a band record this and release it on an album?” I asked him “What is this?” he smiled and said “Pink Floyd” I said “Oh, that explains it, why do you have the TV on with the sound turned down?” he replied “It gives me something to look at, otherwise I would fall asleep” … it was then I realized just what “Pink Floyd” was made for … something to listen to while doing drugs …. (me, no thanks)

Then I became a Senior at West High in Sioux City, a girl a year or 2 behind me Margaret S. (a fabulous Artist and Musician) rode the same bus I did, since I saw her almost everyday (and I thought she was kind of cute) we began to talk and she gave me one of my prize possessions a Cassette Tape of “RUSH: Live In St. Louis in 1980”. As we got to know each other, I began to understand her favorite band was “Pink Floyd” Now I already knew I did not like “Pink Floyd” but she  did turn me onto a song I did like “There’s No Way Out Of Here” from May 1980 by Guitarist David Gilmour of “Pink Floyd” we hung out together a lot as she dated my best friend at the time Strat (he wore a Strat belt buckle, my grandma Marge used to call him “Stuff”). Margaret used to tell me all about “Pink Floyd” I began to know more about “Pink Floyd” than I did about one of my favorite bands at the time “Triumph” ironic huh? As we were good friends she asked to accompany her to see the film “The Wall” at the Orpheum in the Summer of 1982. I went because I wanted to see what all the hubbub was all about. I remember sitting there thinking the same thing I always thought when I heard or saw “Pink Floyd”. “What the hell is this S***, and why do so many people like it?” My lasting memory of “The Wall” is  Joanne Whalley as a groupie asking “Do you want to take a bath?”

Jump to Fall of 1984 I met one of the great loves of my life Cathy C. and Paul McCartney had a new song out “No More Lonely Nights” turns out David Gilmour was the Lead Guitarist on this track. Funny thing is it was the lead guitar solo I disliked the most about this song.

Around Xmas ’85, I met a DJ and Record Dealer Ace of “Ace High Records” and his brother Jim, now these 2 Loved “Pink Floyd” and between the 2 of them, I learned Even more about the band then back when Margaret used to school me on the band. Still … I did not like them … I just didn’t get it. However the brothers did turn me onto “See Emily Play” “Interstellar Overdrive”  “Arnold Layne” & “Day The Tigers Broke Free” I do kind of like those songs.

Summer of 1986 I met a Bass Player Mike M. at “Ye Olde Guitar Shoppe” in N. Des Moines, IA. We made fast friends and began to jam and put together a band, only thing was he only wanted to play songs by: Pink Floyd, The Police, Beatles & Black Sabbath. While I love “The Beatles” & “Black Sabbath” (I do have a “Black Sabbath” tribute Band “NeVeR sAy Die”) I didn’t care much for the other 2 bands, but being a trooper I learned about 5 “Pink Floyd” songs, 7 “Police” songs and about 5 “Black Sabbath” songs, I found while I did not like listening to some of these songs I did enjoy playing them in a band, like the song “Money” ironic eh? Turns out I really did like “Comfortably Numb” & “Hey You”

At one point Ace & I worked together at “Wherehouse Ent.” and “Pink Floyd” was on tour in June of 1994, Everyone I knew went to see “Pink Floyd” in Ames, Iowa at Cyclone Stadium, except me, and the beautiful redhead, Lori L. that worked next door to me in Southridge Mall, we happened to be leaving at the same time this particular evening so I asked her if we want to go watch a movie, thus began our 2 month affair, thank God for “Pink Floyd”.

In Fall of 1995 “Wherehouse Ent.” filed for Chapter 11 and closed almost all of its Mid-West stores, my D.M. at the time Larry S. and 2 other managers from our District (Matt M & Keith S.) had a meeting about pooling together and opening our own store. Larry then offered “How do we get enough Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin & Beatles to stock this new store?” it was then I announced  “I’m out” I knew it would be an impossible task. As everyone wanted to buy “Pink Floyd” but no one was willing to sell back their “Pink Floyd” CDs (NO one wanted Vinyl back then)

In Fall of 1996 I was working at “Best Buy Southridge” we were coming up on Xmas-time and I noticed my store had no Pink Floyd CDs of “The Wall” “Wish You were Here” or “Animals” turns out the band had decided to go back to their old record label “Capitol-EMI” and leave “Sony” which they had been on since 1975. To this day I still do not know why?  In 2004 I was working in Burnsville Mall having been transferred there (against my will in 1999) and I hired one of the best employees I ever had who eventually became one of my best friends Wyatt B. and here again “Pink Floyd” was his favorite band so I got to learn even more about a band I did not like …. go figure, however, due to Wyatt, I did come to realize that I do like the song “Wish You Were Here” .

So to quote my old friend Ace High, “I forgot more about “Pink Floyd” then you’re ever going to know”

In Fall 2011 the “Star Tribune” was doing a story on my Record Store “Mr. Zer0’s 55113 Roseville” because “Vinyl Is Back” my response was “Is It? As I am selling the exact same artists I was selling back when I started in 1985: Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin & Beatles, so to me and the people I knew, it never went away”

> N R S D <

Vinyl Records started gaining popularity back in 2008, This is why Mr. Zer0’s Opened in April 2009 to capitalize on The Vinyl Record Trend happening back in 2008. “National Record Store Day” Was founded in April 2008 in response to the Growing Interest in Vinyl Record Albums in 2007. Why did this happen, well it was generational; Vinyl LPs were the predominant format from 1964 to 1984, In Fall of 1987 NARM and the 6 Major Record Labels at the time: WB, Sony, UNI, BMG, EMI & Polygram Unanimously Agreed to END: 99% of All Vinyl Record Production, some Independent Labels and Special One-Time limited Releases were made, and the UK & Eastern Europe continued to make Vinyl Records, but Not the USA, it’s quite simple really almost No One wanted Vinyl Records anymore in 1987.

Then Cassette took over as the Chosen Format, As the New Music Buying Public said something to the effect of “My Mom bought Records, I Buy  Cassettes” and because of Walkmans, Boom Boxes, Car Stereos and you could fit 36 cassettes in the same space it took for 5 Vinyl Records, (Cassette production Ended in 2002) until 1991 when CDs became the Format of choice, again because of Car Stereos, Boom Boxes & Walkmans, most people felt CD was a superior sound to Cassette and even Vinyl, At That Time, now the consensus seems to have changed, well until the next generation makes a choice. Then in 2000 “Napster” began to threaten CD sales, and then there was Downloading & Ipods, MP3 Players etc. Until 2007 when young people said just like the several generations before them: “My Dad did Downloading, I Buy Records”

Today there is a “N R S D” in April and Again in November of each year (except this disaster of a year 2020) Where there is a Limited Pressing of Certain Records, by only Certain Artists. In the beginning Production Numbers were usually Limited to 300 to 500, maybe a 1000, I have heard that today there may be as many as 5000 made world wide of certain titles. A miniscule amount  when compared to back in the day, say; 1991 when Garth Brooks sold 3 million of just One Of His CD Titles. That’s a -99.5% reduction in pieces production.

Tommy Bolin on Film

Dr. Rox Remember When?

WFNU: Article #113 July 2020

By: RLSchwinden aka  MrZerr0

It’s summertime, and time for the 24th Annual “Tommy Bolin Fest” in Sioux City, Iowa this year held at the “Marquee Club” on 4th St.  #712. 560. 4288. And happening now, in light of the recent success of Rockumentary Films like: QUEEN, Motley Crue & Elton John, in production as I write this, is a film on Tommy Bolin (I was a consultant for the 2nd script draft back in 2012). So this month I thought I would cover the “Known” Footage on Tommy Bolin throughout his career 1968 to 1976, including: ZEPHYR, ENERGY, JAMES GANG, DEEP PURPLE & SOLO. As there is not a lot of film footage out there on Tommy and NO DVDs of the known footage.

WDGY: PsychoGello Show

“Mr. Zer0’s Extended Radio Shows”

WFNU Article #111 May 2020

By: RLSchwinden aka MrZerr0

Hello, Hello I’m back again, It is I, MrZerr0. This month I thought I would cover my personal Landmarks in my own radio shows. Because in 1992 (for KIOA in Iowa) I had the idea to do 1 hour radio shows on the bands I love, but without a Producer I was unable to do this project. But now with the aid of Keith J. & WDGY & Rick B. & WFNU I have been able to create many, several hour radio shows on the bands I love. So I put together a list of the extended radios I have created on the artists I love. I fully realize that some of these may not be in your own personal wheel house, but maybe take a listen anyway, you might just find you like something new and different, and if you already like the band, maybe you’ll learn something new. You can listen to the WFNU “Evolation” Programs at MixClould.Com under Mr. Zer0’s. Hear the WDGY “PsychoGello Shows” at MrZeroS.Com -Podcast. Let us begin…
